• I’ve been making art my whole life. I’ve lived on the east coast and the west coast of the US. I spent most of my life on the west coast and did most of my college career there. I am currently living in Japan where I teach Art. Teaching allows me to explore, be inspired and learn about ways of working I may not have found on my own. I recently finished my MA in Illustration from Falmouth University.

I love exploring new media to work with, but I also love to return to my favorites, like observational drawing. Watercolor is also something I love to use and want to continue to improve my skills with.

  • I am learning all about printmaking at this time. It is a different world than watercolor painting and observational drawing. I am interested in exploring the medium to see where it can take me. I am also focused on learning about the Japanese printmaking of Mokuhanga. It has a steep learning curve, but I am having a lot of fun with it.

  • I am currently working on a few different books for the future. One has all the art ready and I am currently researching options for printing.
